Few road bikes stop you in your tracks quite like this 2017 Trek Emonda SLR Project One in its stunning purple iridescent chameleon finish — a color that shifts and shimmers in the light and arrives here with zero chips or scratches to interrupt the show. At just 14 lb 5 oz as pictured, this is a climbing-focused race machine built to an exceptionally high spec: SRAM Force AXS 12-speed wireless electronic shifting paired with a SRAM Red AXS 10-26T cassette, all routed to Bontrager Speed Stop Direct Mount rim brake calipers — a now-rare and highly sought combination for riders who prefer the simplicity and weight savings of rim brakes with modern electronic precision. The cockpit is equally impressive, featuring an Enve carbon drop handlebar, Bontrager XXX carbon stem and carbon seatmast, and a Bontrager Paradigm XXX carbon rail saddle. Bontrager Aeolus 5 TLR carbon wheels shod in Schwalbe Pro One 700x25c clinchers round out a build that was conceived as a lightweight race weapon from the ground up. In excellent condition with very light signs of use throughout, this Project One is a rare opportunity for the weight-conscious racer or discerning enthusiast who knows exactly what they're looking at.
