The 2019 Specialized Epic Pro Carbon in XL is a race-bred full-suspension XC machine built for tall riders who demand lightweight efficiency and intelligent suspension in equal measure, and this example presents in excellent condition with only very light signs of trail use. The matte carbon frame looks sharp in person — vivid teal decals intact, carbon showing only the lightest surface wear consistent with real-world riding. Suspension is anchored by the RockShox SID Brain fork and custom RockShox Micro Brain rear shock, both with AUTOSAG and Brain Fade technology that self-firms under power and opens up instantly for rough terrain. Rolling stock is a highlight: the Roval Control SL 29" carbon wheelset wrapped in tubeless Specialized Fastrak tires remains in great shape, delivering meaningful weight savings and pinch-flat protection on every ride. The drivetrain pairs SRAM X01 Eagle shifters and rear derailleur with the wide-range XG-1295 10-50t cassette and a Truvativ STYLO Carbon crankset — a capable, cohesive 12-speed setup. An S-Works Carbon cockpit, Specialized dropper seatpost, and hollow Ti saddle complete a build that rewards serious XC racers and ambitious trail riders alike.
