Industry Nine Hydra 2 Classic Rear Hub - 12 x 148mm 6-Bolt Micro Spline Silver 28H
Hydra 2 is built on lessons learned from more than 100,000 original Hydra hubs, delivering bombproof durability for trail, enduro, and downhill riding. A thicker 65% axle, larger 6903 bearings with labyrinth seals, and enlarged pawl pockets combine to handle rigorous conditions while maintaining precise, confident engagement. The 6-Pawl Hydra 2 freehub body engages every 0.41 degrees, providing telepathic control and instant power transfer through demanding terrain and full-gas climbs.
Designed to meet the needs of riders who push the limits—whether carving switchbacks on steep chutes, sprinting through rocky chutes, or powering an ebike with punchy torque—the Hydra 2 uses scalloped flanges for added strength without excess weight, and a revised axle that distributes stress more evenly for long-term reliability.
Who is this for?
Trail, enduro, and downhill riders who demand dependable performance in harsh conditions; riders building or upgrading an e-bike setup who value durable bearings, robust seals, and predictable engagement; cyclists seeking a lighter, stronger hub that reduces drag while delivering consistent, immediate response.
