The 2022 Trek Top Fuel 7 Gen 3 in XL is a capable, confidence-inspiring trail bike that punches well above its original $3,200 MSRP price point — and this particular unit arrives in excellent condition with only very light signs of trail use, a few small nicks on the frame, a clean drivetrain, and Bontrager XR4 Team Issue tires that still have plenty of tread life left. The aluminum Gen 3 Top Fuel platform pairs a RockShox 35 Gold RL fork with 120mm of DebonAir-sprung, Motion Control-damped travel up front with a Fox Performance Float DPS rear shock featuring a 3-position damper, giving XL riders (504mm reach, 615mm stack) a well-balanced, trail-tuned chassis ready for aggressive singletrack. Drivetrain duties are handled by a tidy mix of Shimano SLX shifting, a Shimano XT M8100 long-cage rear derailleur, and a wide 10-51t Deore cassette for effortless climbing, while the Bontrager Line Comp 30 wheels are already set up tubeless. A 170mm-travel TranzX dropper post rounds out a build that suits the enthusiastic trail rider seeking a proven full-suspension 29er without the new-bike premium.
