The Tarmac SL6 is Specialized's acclaimed race-bred carbon platform, and this 2022 52cm example arrives in excellent condition with only very light signs of use — the dark charcoal carbon frame presents beautifully, decals are crisp and intact, and the tan-wall Continental Grand Prix 5000 tires lend a classic aesthetic that looks as good as it rides. Mechanically, this is a well-rounded build centered on a full Shimano 105 R7000/R7020 2x11 hydraulic disc groupset — reliable, proven, and easy to service — paired to DT Swiss R470 Disc 700c wheels that offer a solid platform for long miles. The S-Works FACT carbon seatpost and Body Geometry Power Sport saddle are welcome upgrades above entry-level, while the Specialized Pro SL alloy stem and shallow-drop handlebar dial in a confident road position. Originally retailing around $3,500, this unit represents a compelling opportunity for a small-to-medium framed rider — think 5'4" to 5'7" — seeking a capable, race-geometry road bike with hydraulic stopping power at a significant discount over new.
