The Gen 5 Trek Slash 9.8 GX is one of the most capable enduro rigs Trek has ever built, and this Medium example arrives in Excellent condition with only very light signs of use — the glossy orange-and-carbon OCLV Mountain Carbon frame is strikingly clean, with just a few minor scuffs on the lower tubes and chainstay that are easy to miss. The suspension package is genuinely premium: a RockShox ZEB Select+ with Charger 2.1 RC damper up front (170mm travel) pairs with a NEW RockShox Super Deluxe Ultimate rear shock, meaning the heart of this build is essentially unfired. Rolling stock is equally impressive — Bontrager Line Elite 30 OCLV Carbon wheels keep weight low and stiffness high, wrapped in tubeless-ready Maxxis Assegai front and Minion DHR II rear tires that still show excellent tread depth. Stopping power comes from SRAM Code R 4-piston hydraulic brakes, and the full SRAM GX Eagle 12-speed drivetrain with a 10-52T cassette delivers a wide-range gear spread for grinding climbs and flying descents alike. A Bontrager Line Elite dropper post and 810mm BLK BRD bar round out a build that is trail-ready from day one — ideal for the aggressive 29er rider targeting technical terrain without paying new-bike prices.
