The Specialized Tarmac Expert in 58cm is a serious carbon road machine built for the tall rider who wants race-proven performance without the new-bike price tag. The clean matte charcoal carbon frame and matching fork look sharp in person, and this example presents in excellent condition with only the lightest traces of use — decals are crisp, the carbon is unmarked, and the drivetrain components show minimal wear consistent with careful ownership. What really elevates this build above a stock Tarmac Expert is the ENVE carbon SES disc wheelset laced to Industry Nine hubs — a wheel upgrade alone worth thousands — rolling on Continental Grand Prix TR clinchers with good tread remaining. Shimano Ultegra 6800 handles shifting duties front and rear, paired with Shimano BR-785 hydraulic disc brakes with Ice-Tech finned pads for confident, modulated stopping in any conditions. The FSA SL-K Light crankset, Specialized carbon seatpost, and Specialized Power saddle round out a build that feels premium at every touch point. At just over 17 lbs, this is a versatile all-rounder equally at home on spirited weekend rides or longer gran fondo efforts — and it's ready to roll the moment it arrives.

ENVE wheels are straight and undamaged. Tires retain good tread depth. No significant cosmetic issues observed. |
