The Trek Madone 5.5 is one of Trek's most celebrated OCLV carbon road framesets, hand-built in the USA using Trek's proprietary Optimum Compaction Low Void carbon fiber layup — a process that produces an exceptionally stiff yet compliant ride platform favored by serious road racers and enthusiasts alike. This example comes in a striking red with white graphics and includes the matching Bontrager carbon fork with a carbon steerer, complemented by a Cane Creek headset. The frame features a braze-on front derailleur mount, external cable stops along the down tube and seat tube, and traditional quick-release rear dropout spacing suited for a wide range of 10-speed road groupsets. The bottom bracket shell shows a pressfit-style integrated design typical of this generation.
