Salsa's Chili Con Crosso was ahead of its time — a purpose-built gravel and cyclocross machine that anticipated the genre boom, and this 60cm example shows why the model earned its cult following. The eye-catching green-to-dark-green gradient paint with flowing graphic decals looks vibrant and largely intact in person, with only minor scuffs consistent with light, honest use and no dents or structural concerns whatsoever. The aluminum frame is paired with a True Temper Alpha Q Carbon CX fork for a confidence-inspiring front end, and the build spec punches well above its vintage: SRAM Force Carbon shifters, SRAM Rival crankset, and Avid Shorty Ultimate cantilever brakes give you crisp, reliable control on mixed terrain. Mavic Kysyrium Elite 5 wheels roll true and are wrapped in Panaracer Gravelking tires with classic tan sidewalls that look as good as they perform on gravel and hardpack. A Thomson seatpost, Ritchey stem, and a green Chris King threadless headset round out a cockpit that is both functional and thoughtfully spec'd.
